This year, on Saturday July 22, I’m riding in VeloSano Bike to Cure. I’m asking for your support as 100% of the money raised benefits cancer research! Funds raised by the Case Comprehensive Cancer Center team have been used to support pilot projects lead by cancer center faculty members such as me.
I am representing the Quantitative Imaging Laboratory (QIL) as part of the cancer center. The QIL develops new imaging technology to improve cancer diagnosis and treatment with a strong emphasis on translating practical innovation to the clinic. The new and quickly growing QIL bridges multiple departments including Radiology and Radiation Oncology at University Hospitals Seidman Cancer Center as well as the Department of Biomedical Engineering at Case Western Reserve University. We are engineers, radiologists, radiation oncologists, physicists, chemists, and technologists working together to improve the lives of our cancer patients. Measures of our productivity include more than 200 publications, 10 patents, and, most importantly, numerous trainees who are innovators and emerging leaders in cancer care. In fact, several of us and family members (Richard Agnes, Rose Al Helo, Atallah Baydoun, and Kaitlin Muzic) are riding together for the Case Comprehensive Cancer Center Team.
To find me search for my last name Muzic. (Notice that my daughter Kaitlin is riding too!) Alternatively, here is a direct link for me: http://ccf.convio.net/goto/Raymond_Muzic
If you work for a company that has a matching donation program, please take advantage of it. This could be a way to double your impact.
