Cancer affects a lot of people, and my experience is unfortunately no different. My grandfather Joe was diagnosed with stomach cancer a few years ago, and had to have most of his stomach cut out in April 2013. My grandfather Yeye was diagnosed with lung cancer later that same year, and was then diagnosed with bladder cancer in the spring of 2014. Both of my grandfathers are thankfully still with us today with a whole lot of care, support, and treatment. I'm humbled to have the opportunity to participate and share their stories, and to help make sure we're doing everything we can to find a cure.
This year, I am riding 50 miles in support of cancer research. All of the money raised from this event goes directly to cancer research here at Cleveland Clinic, and it is a humbling to work with and get to know the scientists and caregivers who dedicate their life's work to this important research.
VeloSano is more than a fundraising event. It’s more than simply a bike ride. VeloSano is a movement with the goal of bringing an entire community together to help one another. I’ve joined the movement in VeloSano, and I need your help to raise money for the cause. 100% of the money I raise will support lifesaving cancer research at Cleveland Clinic. The goal is to bring sustainable funding to cancer research by enlisting the passion and energy of thousands of people who wish to give back…including YOU!
Thank you for your support of my VeloSano fundraising campaign. Donate today!
How far will you go for the cure?
