VeloSano Year 5 is Here. Support Sandy's Domestiques
If there is anything Sandy and I have learned along the way it is this: Every day is a gift and this year's VeloSano ride has special meaning.
My job, as directed by Sandy, is to make her laugh everyday. And that's easy because most of the content comes from making light of every moment. You see, we refuse to let cancer beat us down. So jokes, puns, word play, and political satire often becomes the content for our ribbing and poking fun of each other. Learn to laugh at yourself, it makes a huge difference in your life and the ones you love.
50 miles this year. No more, no less. I have learned that the VeloSano is not an endurance race. 50 miles gives me time to enjoy my fellow team riders, sightsee in the Cleve, and get back in time to rest up for a Saturday evening treat. Hamilton at the Playhouse. We are over the moon about seeing it as a family.
Training starts the first week of April in Gambier, OH at Kenyon College. By the time I get back, I hope for the roads to clear for additional training.
Your generous help motivates me. If your a first time donor, thank you for joining 55 others that annually pledge to ride to rid cancer!!
That's it: RIDE TO RID CANCER!!
