CC Hospice Ben and Nate Thurmond Memorial Golf Outing
Dear Friends, Family and Co-Workers,
Thank you for coming to the page we’ve set up on behalf of Cleveland Clinic Hospice. Cleveland Clinic Hospice has been providing quality, compassionate end of life care and services to patients and their loved ones since 1992. Our caregivers have had the privilege of serving more than 8,000 patients in addition to thousands of families during their time of need. Hospice helps patients and their families prepare physically, emotionally and spiritually for the end of life. Our focus is on providing comfort, not cure; on family, not just the patient; and on quality of life, not duration. Your gift will provide care to those in need, as well as support for education and research toward improving hospice care for everyone.
We are hosting our 10th Annual Ben and Nate Thurmond Memorial Golf Outing on Friday, August 18, 2017 at Sleepy Hollow Golf Course in Independence. The outing is supported and attended by the Cleveland Cavaliers Legends, led by Campy Russell. This outing is important because 100% of the proceeds are used to provide programs and services for our hospice patients and their families such as music and art therapy, grief and bereavement, veteran's services, outreach to the community and staff education. Proceeds also support care provided to indigent patients who otherwise would not be able to pay for their hospice services. Many of these services are provided through philanthropic funds that are continuously needed.
We are committed to ensuring those in need receive the physical, emotional and spiritual care aligned with our hospice program. Your generosity ensures no one with a life limiting illness will walk alone. Donations are critical to our ongoing success of our program. The success of this program is aligned with the commitment and vision of our extraordinary team of caregivers. Over the past few years, we’ve successfully expanded our footprint on both main campus and throughout the community to ensure those in need receive the care and quality of life they deserve.
Thank you again for your vested belief in our model of care. Your philanthropy allows us to be a bright light for so many patients and families and for that, we remain truly humbled by your generosity. On behalf of Cleveland Clinic Hospice, we would like to thank you for your meaningful support and extend a heartfelt welcome into our community of benefactors. Your generosity is impactful and allows our program to provide specialized services to accommodate the unique needs of our patients and loved ones. Without your advocacy, these services would not be available.
One gift can make a difference. The Power of Every One is the power of shared vision, generosity and effort. We can’t do this without you.
Please join us so together we can help support Cleveland Clinic Hospice. Thanks again for your support.
