HOPE FOR A CURE FIGHTING NF
Dear Friends, Family and Co-Workers,
Thank you for coming to the page I've set up on behalf of Cleveland Clinic Children's Hospital. I have been promoting/hosting fundraisers for the past 3 yrs in memory of my son Billy Fortin who died June 26th, 2013 from congenital heart disease CHD and Neurofibromatosis NF. I am inspired by him to share awareness of these rare incurable diseases. Billy always hoped to one day be successful enough with his music to donate to the children's ward for music and magic for the older pediatric patients and he was always concered for the kids who were hospitalized at Christmas. I take toys every year in his memory for newborn to young adult to honor his dream to give to the kids.
I am supporting Cleveland Clinic Children's because of the great work they do in putting our pediatric patients first, and because of the research they conduct to prevent and cure diseases. I feel passionately about Cleveland Clinic Children's because of the miracles that take place there every day, and invite you to join me in supporting this world-renowned institution.
Your gift to Cleveland Clinic Children's will help transform healthcare for the young patients in our communities and across the world and keep Billy's memory and dreams alive. It will also give me comfort knowing research will continue so no child has to suffer like Billy did and no mother has to live through watching that child suffer.
One idea can create a cure. One caregiver can change countless lives. And One gift can make a difference. The Power of Every One is the power of shared vision, generosity and effort. We can’t do this without you.
Please join me so together we can help support Cleveland Clinic Children's.
Thanks again for your support.
